Borderlands 3 Update: August 8, 2024

Today at 12:00 PT (21:00 Madrid), we are releasing an update for Borderlands 3, available on all platforms.

This update includes the following enhancements:

  • If you have beaten the game and have at least one max-level character, you can now create a max-level character from the main menu.
  • An auto-sell option for gear based on rarity has been added to the main menu:
  • This auto-sell feature will automatically sell any gear you collect that is at or below a preset rarity. Cosmetics will not be auto-sold.
  • Note on mission gear: Mission reward items offered as rewards after completing a mission may be auto-sold if auto-sell is enabled. You can avoid the possibility of losing mission rewards by setting the auto-sell option to "none" before completing the mission.
  • On Steam Deck: Increased text size in the options menu.
