Wall Control Metal Pegboard

Installing multiple Wall Control Panels side-by-side is easy. Vertical panels are 16” wide and designed to accommodate common 16” stud spacing. You can line up panels on a single stud if you can pinpoint the exact location of each stud with a stud finder. See the image below to see what it means to match panels on the same stud.

If you can pinpoint the exact location of the studs on your wall, you can install two adjacent panels on the same stud. If not, you may need to use a combination of wood screws and drywall anchors.

If you don’t have standard 16” stud spacing or you don’t know where the stud centers are, use the included drywall anchors as needed. You can still use a secure pegboard if you only use drywall anchors to hang the pegboard. 1 You only need to worry about finding studs for most of your mounting screws if you're hanging hundreds of pounds of chains or whatever on a single panel.

Note: I think someone helped me build my house who didn't know (or simply didn't care) how to measure properly. I had to use drywall anchors. My wall control boards are surprisingly well-secured, even with just a handful of screws driven into the drywall anchors. Don't sweat it if you have to use a combination of studs and drywall screws.

Using Traditional Pegs for Your Wall Control System

• You can use traditional 1/4" pegs of different lengths with your Wall Control Panel, but I personally don't like them. The reason I don't like traditional pegs is because they are designed to fit a 3/16" (about 5mm) thick fiberboard pegboard. The Wall Control Panel (1mm thick) To accommodate the 100mm pegs, you have to bend the hooks to be perpendicular to the pegboard.
• If you already have traditional pegs, I recommend bending them to work, but if you don't, fill your board with the Wall Control hooks and accessories. They are expensive, but they are strong and hold things securely.
• I recommend buying a package that includes the panels, hooks, shelves, etc., and then buying only the hooks and accessories you need to hang your equipment and gear.
• Pros and Cons of the Wall Control System
• I said I would make a list of pros and cons for the Wall Control, but honestly, the system is all pros. I mean, it costs more than a cheap fiberboard pegboard, and I could say that the Wall Control hooks cost more than traditional pegs, but the Wall Control product is just so good that I don't feel the cost is a con.

• Wall control does not warp of excessive moisture as a pegboard on the fiber board.
