RMS Queen Mary 2, built in 2004, along with his fellow MS Queen Victoria (2007), MS Queen Elizabeth (2010), and the latest Kunard line (2024) Queen Ann. It is the oldest and most famous ship among cunaded cruise ships.

The ship (IMO number 9241061) currently has the Bermuda flag (MMSI 310627000) and has acquired a vessel in Hamilton. Previously, the flagship / ferrum is the UK / Southampton (MMSI 235762000).

History-Construction and ownership

The Kunard Line is a British American cruise brand, operated by a carnival UK and owned by a carnival corporation. Cunard is headquartered in Southampton (UK) and is one of the oldest passenger ships in the world. In 2015, the Cunard Line celebrated its 175th anniversary.

Cunad has continued to protect the Blue L i-brand, the fastest sailing of the Atlantic Ocean, for the next 30 years. In 1968, the Kunard Line withdrew from operations all year round and focused on vacation customers and crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Queens was replaced by QE2 (Queen Elizabeth 2), designed for its special dual role. In 1998, Carnival Corporation acquired Cunard. Five years later, QM2 (Queen Merry 2) entered the Atlantic route on behalf of Queen Elizabeth 2.

Currently, Cunard is the only boat company that operates regular passenger services connecting North America and Europe.

The RMS Queen Mary 2, which has a capacity of 1, 300 passengers, is the current flagship of Cunard, one of the most modern (design and technology) cruise ships, and is currently specially designed for regular voyage of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the world's largest ocean liner. QM2 is a perfect structure from the bow to the stern, a magnificent public space, a luxurious restaurant, a ballroom, a theater, a bar, a lounge, and a planetarium (first eaves). Stephen Payne is the ship's naval architect and CCL Carnival's designer, who modeled the features of past ocean liners, including the three thick black lines that recall the appearance of the original Queen Mary. The ship changed flag in 2011 (from London, England to Hamilton, Bermuda), allowing weddings on board at sea. RMS stands for "Royal Mail Ship", a gesture in the history of Cunard Line.

RMS Queen Mary 2 is the only ship that regularly sails between the UK and the USA (Southampton and New York), and offers high quality travel with modern facilities, highly trained staff and the most professional crew. With a gross tonnage of 148, 528 tons, the QM2 is also one of the largest passenger ships in the world.

Cunard QM2's first cruise began on January 10, 2007, and took 81 days to circumnavigate the world. On February 20, she met Queen Elizabeth II in Sydney, New South Wales, and on her way to her round-the-world voyage. The Queen's arrival time was 5:42 a. m., but there were many spectators on the Harbour Bridge. This was the first time they had met since the first Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary came aboard as soldiers in 1941.

Another royal rendezvous took place in front of the Statue of Liberty in New York at 6:45 pm on January 13, 2011. Queen Mary 2 met Queen Victoria and the new ship Queen Elizabeth. The two ships, QE and QV, crossed the Atlantic in tandem for the event. Fireworks and the red light of the Empire State Building marked the occasion. Deck and Cabin

RMS Queen Mary 2 cabins (1363 rooms in total) include 170 suite, 813 balconies, 74 ocean views (including 12 Ranai/ Atrium views), 286 inside, 29 categories. There are 479 connecting rooms, 26 wheelchair compatible cabins, and 15 studios (one cabin). The largest room is the Grand Duplex Suite (1, 600 feet 2/149 m2 + 645 feet 2 /60 m2 terrace).

There are 18 decks, of which 13 decks are barrie r-free and 11 decks are rooms.

Passenger cabins are standard insides (without windows), Lanai / Standard Atrium views (with small windows in the standard inside), standard ocean views (one small no n-open side window with the sea), Britannia. Club balcony and Britannia balcony (with glas s-covered balcony), the rest is suite (Princess, Queen, Penthouse, Royal, Duplex, Grand Duplex).

You can request meetings at the time of booking. Britannia restaurant dinner is 6 pm and 8:30 pm. There is no seat in Princess Grill and Queen's Grill. The notes for checking the seats and table numbers are placed on the cabin when boarding. Lunch and breakfast do not require tables or seats.

Note: At the time of the 2016 o n-board tank, "Winter Garden" was changed to "Circlesia Lounge". In the new lounge, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and premium coffee. During the renovation period in 2016, "Todd Inglyish" (Mediterranean cuisine) was changed to the veranda (modern French restaurant). The buffe t-style King Scort has been completely reborn with a smoked house (alternative dining concept).
