Maxwell Hearing Aids FAQ

Is the Xbox Maxwell compatible with Playstation?

Each version is globally compatible with a 3, 5mm connection. In low-latency wireless or USB modes, the PlayStation version will not work on the Xbox due to different hardware, firmware, and licensing requirements. Using the Xbox version on the PlayStation via a USB dongle is not officially supported and may not work. If you use the Xbox version on the PS via wired USB, you may lose volume control limits and other features. We recommend using the version supported by each console.

How has Maxwell improved over the Penrose?

Maxwell has several key advancements over the Penrose. Maxwell has an improved chassis with higher quality materials for improved durability, a much longer battery life (over 80 hours in our tests), improved wireless range and stability using the new Bluetooth 5. 3 protocol, and high-resolution audio playback via USB mode.

How does the sound of Maxwell differ from the Mobius and Penrose?

Maxwell is a completely new driver design based on the original Mobius/Penrose design and will have a similar sound signature.

One of the biggest improvements is in the new housing. The Penrose/Mobius housing had a PCB on one side and a battery on the other, which resulted in poor left/right acoustic balance. The buttons were also mostly on the left. Maxwell uses a dual chamber design. It has an internal housing that acoustically isolates the driver from the electronics. This alone is a big improvement.

In terms of chipset improvements, Maxwell uses a new dedicated DAC and AMP section that is more powerful. The DSP is also much more powerful compared to the Penrose. This gives Maxwell a much wider dynamic range and a lower noise floor compared to the Mobius and Penrose.

Is there a trade program for Penrose/Mobius owners?

No immediate plans, but we will consider it in the future.

What materials are used in Maxwell?

Maxwell uses an all-new reinforced chassis made with aluminum yokes, spring steel headers, and glass-filled nylon for other structural parts, including the cups.

Will Maxwell replace Mobius?

Mobius is primarily designed for the needs of high-end PC gamers looking for 5. 1/7. 1 surround sound and head tracking. But if you want a high-end wireless headset, Maxwell is the answer.

If my computer has my own license, will the PS version work with Dolby Access? Maxwell works with existing Dolby Atmos license. If it has been enabled on a computer before, you can continue to use Maxwell.

Why is it a 90mm driver instead of 100mm like Mobius/Penrose?

The active area does not change. The new dual chamber headphone design has a little space by having two physical headphones (one inside, one outside).

Is the headphone compatible with the dongle (can PS dongle be used with Xbox headphones?)?

Headphones are not compatible. PS Maxwell must be paired with PS dongle headset, and Xbox must be paired with Xbox dongle.

Is the headphones removed?

The headphones are removable. The lock comes off easily when twisted clockwise.

Maxwell can play Dongle/BT simultaneously. Can I listen to music in BT while playing games in dongle mode?

The Maxwell chipset cannot play Dongle and Bluetooth simultaneously, but it is possible to play simultaneously with USB Wired + BT and AUX + BT. If you need to use two audio devices at the same time, use one of these configurations.

MAXWELL switches Dongle and BT seamlessly with mult i-point Bluetooth connection, but cannot play both sources at the same time. For example, if you receive a phone call while playing in USB Dongle mode, you can respond to the call with Maxwell. When the call is over, it will automatically return to USB dongle mode.

How is playback/ chat mode different from Penrose?

In Penrose and Penrose X, games and talk mixes were performed by tapping the microphone wheels up and down. In Maxwell, there is no volume control of the microphone (Maxwell uses AGC (automatic gain control)), so the output level of the microphone is controlled. The playback/ talk balance has been defaulted, so you only need to adjust the lower wheel up and down to adjust the playback/ talk balance.

Maxwell also uses a double endpoint design to use on PC and Mac. When the dongle is connected to the computer, it is displayed as two different endpoints, that is, two audio devices. The first is a Maxwell game, and the second is a Maxwell chat. The application can select one of the two audio devices during playback. The rotary button adjusts the balance between the two audio devices/ endpoints.

In short Gaming/talking balance is achieved by simply adjusting the bottom wheel (talking/communication wheel) up or down. Microphone gain is now automatically controlled (automatically adjusts microphone volume).

How do I adjust the new headband?

To adjust the headband, grab the headband by the strap near the screw hole and pull the strap hole over the screw. You do not need to remove the screw from the head strap to adjust the strap.

For most head shapes and sizes, the headband will be suspension style as both sides do not need to hang over the bottom screw (maximizing size for larger heads). We strive to accommodate all shapes and head sizes, but please remember that there are certain limitations to any headset design and that the headband may touch on larger settings or larger headsets.

What are the inner ear dimensions of the Maxwell ear cushions?

The ear holes of the Maxwell ear pads are 65mm high x 50mm wide x 30mm deep (back side) and 20mm deep (front side).

Note: There may be slight tolerances per dashboard.

As a PC-only user, which is better, Xbox or PlayStation Maxwell?

Both the Xbox and PlayStation versions work the same for PC use. In this case, it is better to choose the PlayStation version. The Xbox version includes a Dolby Atmos license for the headphones only. Please note: existing Dolby Atmos licenses can be used with both versions of Maxwell by purchasing them separately in the Microsoft app store.

Does Maxwell come with a travel case?

Currently, we do not offer case options for Maxwell or the MM-100, but we do have a Geekria Shield Case (available on Amazon).

Geekria Shield Case (Amazon). There may be other options available online.

If you are looking for other options, the headphones measure approximately 100mm and the headphones are approximately 200mm tall. We are planning to offer a case option in the future, although we are not sure when.

Is the Aux/3, 5mm connection passive? Does it work like a normal headset without the unit being switched on?

Maxwell, like Penrose and Mobius, is an active headphone with any connection type, so it needs a power source. Like those headphones, Maxwell uses an internal DSP and has a balanced amplifier for each driver. Common sense recommends connecting Maxwell with a 3, 5 mm/AUX cable. Using an amplifier and not adjusting the volume properly can overload the circuitry inside the headset. We strongly recommend not using an amplifier, or setting the volume very low, and adjusting it until the volume control on Maxwell and the source device are balanced. Using an external amplifier can cause loss of sound quality and increase noise and distortion.

Does Maxwell have ANC?

Maxwell does not have ANC. Like Mobius and Penrose, and other closed-back LCD headsets such as the LCD-2 Closed and LCD-XC, the closed-back design passively cancels noise. The new dual-chamber headset design provides better passive noise isolation from the outside compared to previous models.

Maxwell features AI noise cancellation for outward conversation/communication for both the internal and external microphones (boom mics).

Why do I hear feedback noise when I remove the boom mic?

Maxwell's built-in microphone is directional, and when you enable sidetone and place it close to the headset driver, it may pick up the signal and produce feedback. This does not usually happen under normal usage conditions where you are wearing the headset. The feedback is similar to walking in front of a speaker with a microphone in your hand.

The feedback is caused by the microphone's sidetone gain amplifying the sounds around you. Sidetone gain is necessary to provide the real-time audio monitoring that users want.

We increased the sidetone gain due to customer feedback that the sidetone gain was not loud enough. However, this resulted in louder sidetone and a high prevalence of comments, so in the latest firmware update, we slightly reduced the sidetone gain.

To avoid feedback issues, turn off sidetone, power off Maxwell before removing it from your head, or avoid placing Maxwell in a position where the built-in microphone is too close to the headphone driver (for example, one cup rotated 90 degrees relative to the other).

The new management league, which is expected to be a national soccer stadium in Egypt, replacing Cairo International Stadium (75. 000 people), was designed by Italian architect architectz & structure MJW. These companies are also working on Turin's Juventus Stadium and Cameroon Paul Bee Stadium.

This name may not be preferable, but it is an impressive design with the head of the ancient Egyptian Queen Neferity. Despite the 93. 940 capacity, it is now the world's largest soccer stadium.

This stadium is located in the center of a larger sports complex with a training field, an indoor hall, and an Olympic pool. The construction of this ground is part of the Egyptian World Cup and 2036 Olympics.

The FNB Stadium is the largest stadium in Africa, mainly rugby union and soccer games. From its scale, it may be a fairly intimidating place. The stadium has been used for various purposes in the past, but is known for its 2010 World Cup finals and the Netherlands vs. Spain.

The FNB Stadium is also a home stadium of the South African national team, and the home game of Kaiser captain will be held.

In addition to the World Cup, the FNB Stadium is also excellent in holding the African Nations Cup.

It is clear that the FNB stadium is one of the best FNB stadiums in the world's largest soccer stadium, but our opinion is not the leading role. Looking back on the game played here in the 2010 World Cup, the unprecedented Bubzera was shown throughout the stadium, and the atmosphere was just amazing.

Camp Knou is the home of FC Barcelona, known as the world's largest soccer stadium. The capacity is about 100, 000, the largest stadium in Spain.

This is a surprising feat for a stadium designated by all seats. For many years, all major tournaments and games have been held at this stadium. The game was also held in the World Cup, the Euro, the UEFA Champions League Final, and the summer Olympics sponsored by Barcelona in 1992.

This symbolic ground has no roof and can be seen over the entire city of Barcelona. Therefore, FC Barcelona will play elsewhere. Once the renovation work is completed, Camp Know has a roof, and the capacity will increase further.

1.

  • place
  • Opening: 1989
  • Number of capacity: 114. 000
  • Construction cost unknown

At the top of the world's largest soccer stadium is the mysterious Langrad in Pyongyang, North Korea, the Stadium. The area of the stadium is about 21 hectares. It is the home of the Soccer North Korean national team, and many other events will be held.

It opened in 1989, but the details are hardly known. It boasts a stunning roof with 16 concrete arches reminiscent of parachute (although it seems to have been designed in the image of lotus flowers) and at least 115, 000 people. Some have pointed out that this may underestimate the capacity of supporters.

It is quite hard to believe that the world's largest stadium was built as a small response to the construction of a South Korea's neighboring country. North Korea probably wanted to make a statement. It is unknown how much it took.

The land is on Runla, an eigh t-story building, with a size of 207. 000 square meters. Its name comes from the day it opened: Derived from the 1989 May Day.

Fun facts about the world's largest stadium

Construction costs of 5 billion pounds or more

If you adjust the listed prices, if you list the top 15 of the world's largest soccer stadium, you will probably be 5 billion pounds plus, barely soaring. The cost alone is astounding, but imagine the ma n-hours you need to build such a stadium.

< SPAN> This is a surprising feat as a stadium specified by all seats.

Opening: 1989

Number of capacity: 114. 000

Construction cost unknown

At the top of the world's largest soccer stadium is the mysterious Langrad in Pyongyang, North Korea, the Stadium. The area of the stadium is about 21 hectares. It is the home of the Soccer North Korean national team, and many other events will be held.

It opened in 1989, but the details are hardly known. It boasts a stunning roof with 16 concrete arches reminiscent of parachute (although it seems to have been designed in the image of lotus flowers) and at least 115, 000 people. Some have pointed out that this may underestimate the capacity of supporters.

  • It is quite hard to believe that the world's largest stadium was built as a small response to the construction of a South Korea's neighboring country. North Korea probably wanted to make a statement. It is unknown how much it took.
  • The land is on Runla, an eigh t-story building, with a size of 207. 000 square meters. Its name comes from the day it opened: Derived from the 1989 May Day.
