Interview with Lors between the two routes

Lolus 5 of them were climbers. They took me out and climbed. When I climbed to the top, I was panicked and overcome the cliffs, and I was about to commit suicide.

Liam: Beyond the anchor?

Loin so! But no one died!

Liam: Amazing! Did you shout?

LORS: Yeah, don't do that!

Liam: What a hell! After that, did you do your best?

Loin: Yes: So philosophy is going with someone who explains slowly.

Liam: Yes, did they never explain what to do?

Loin: Yes: No, it's all!

Liam: That kind of experience sometimes inspires yourself.

LORS: That's what I like in climbing. I'm really scared, but as I keep going, my fear disappears, and I think, "Wow, I did something scary!" And I got over.

Liam: Sometimes you have to be afraid, and you can't do it unless you are afraid.

LORS: The part of the amygdala is not functioning.

(Laughing and joking about Alex Onold).

Loin: I think it will be familiar to other life. If you have to stand in front of a large number of people and do professional things, "Oh, yes.

Liam: Oh, but never dies.

Loin: Yes: You need to breathe, find a relaxed feeling like a Zen, and calm your small back of your head.

Liam: So why do you continue?

LORS: It's fun to get stronger. It was never strong before. You can run fast with the zombie apocalypse, and you can climb things.

Liam: Did you play sports before climbing?

Loin: No: Not in particular. I didn't do anything hiking. I don't really like hiking, but I like hiking after climbing.

Liam: I've heard that climbers call hikings that do not climb as "long approaches that can't go anywhere." < SPAN> Interview with Lors between the two routes

Liam: I've heard that climbers call hikings that do not climb as "long approaches that can't go anywhere."

Lors: Also, because I move around a lot, wherever I go, I quickly have a community. Climbers are generally really nice people, so even if you turn up somewhere where you don't know anyone, they take care of you. I went climbing in the south of Spain hoping to find some climbing buddies, and there were a lot of people who were going through the same thing. So I climbed with people from all over the world. Different perspectives on life, things like that.

Liam: I've climbed with people who I didn't even speak the same language, but we had a great time!

Lors: That's right! There's a word in German that sounds like "up" but actually means "down"!

Liam: What's your climbing style? Like your approach to climbing?

Lors: I get injured a lot, so I climb while checking what my body wants. If something hurts, I take it easy and think about getting stronger outside. Sometimes in the gym I push myself too hard. But outside, it's like a puzzle because I have to find the right hand, the right foot.

Lors: The rope broke.

Liam: What happened? ROTH: Well, it was the second time I used it, and it was a freak accident. There was a climber I'd never climbed with, trad climbing, and his gear kept flying off. The rope ended up breaking, and if he'd hit a bushy ledge, he would have crashed to the ground.

LIAM: Wow, three ropes?

ROTH: Yeah. It must have been the third one that broke that broke the rope. I sent it back and never heard anything.

LIAM: That's crazy that the rope broke.

ROTH: Yeah, it's very unusual. And there was one time my sister was belaying me, and she's scared of bees. She saw a bee and panicked and let go of the rope, and the guy next to her caught it.

LIAM: You mentioned Lebanon earlier. Did you do a lot of climbing there?

ROTH: Yeah, I did. The climbing community was great and it was a small community so you got to know everyone very quickly.

Liam: How is climbing perceived in Lebanon? Are people crazy about climbing?

Liam: How is climbing perceived in Lebanon? In my experience, even the people in the places where we were climbing were super friendly and interested in what we were doing. They thought it was crazy but were very supportive.

Liam: Speaking of traveling and climbing, is there any place that has captured your heart for climbing?

I really liked the southern part of Rors Spain. El Chodo has a beautiful mult i-pitch and a huge climbing route. The rocks there are sandstone and limestone, but the rocks near the climbing area are like glass. The community there is great and you can rent a tent for 5 euros per night. There is a big joint kitchen and you come to climb from all over the world.

Liam: What was the most happy moment to climb?

  1. The most happy thing about Lolus was the climbing in southern Spain. For the first time, I climbed a major mult i-pitch, but when I arrived at a 35 0-meter village from the ground, I and my climbing partner alone sat in awe and enjoyed the scenery.
  2. Liam: It's a special feeling to climb alone.
  3. Loin: That's right: Yes, it was wonderful. We were hanging on the big rock side, but everything was very beautiful. The people with goats were running around, and they could speak with the locals in Spanish. But I also love to take the climbing people for the first time and see the excitement when they won the climbing or when someone sends their projects.

Liam: Thank you for your relationship.

Loin: Thank you for your invitation. By the way, I'm looking for someone who practices Arabic together. If you are interested, chat!

Interview with Zora between the two routes

Liam: Why climbing?

Zora: When I tried climbing at the age of 58, I just liked it.

Liam: What did you think of climbing?

Z: I was a gymnast when I was young, but I was injured in many ways and thought I couldn't do anything physical. But as I trained, strengthened muscle strength, and rehabilitation, I became able to climb.

L: Why are you here? At the gym, and generally?

Z: Climbing is addictive. But climbing is a tremendous opportunity, so I'm still working hard here. To be stationary, focused, brave, not stupid, social, and completely snuggling up to your partner. And drive yourself to the limit. Isn't that the opportunity for the elderly to drive themselves to a physical limit? Almost no. And now I am still climbing here. I try not to add to adrenaline. Just like a dance, like dedicating everything. I still continue hard training, but I can do the best when I forget my training and just flow.

Life is such a great training for life.

And ultimately a person. Now some of the closest friends are climbing partners. I think the trust in each other and the contact with each other are very beautiful.

L: When you're with someone in a really dangerous situation, you really have to trust the other person.

Z: You have to trust the other person! I'm doing what I like all day with my favorite people in nature.

The people of Clag X are wonderful in that they supported me. The tribes of climbers, including young men who support older women who are in climbing, are very beautiful and have never experienced in other areas.

L What is the relationship with fear?

Z: Climbing is a great courage training. It also becomes a recovery training. Because you just have to endure. It is well trained, when you are in the flow, you are not afraid, and your climbing works well.

L: Do I have to suppress fear? What is the strategy to deal with fear?

Z: I realize that it is safer not to succumb to fear, not fear. If you think about fear, it will be easier to fall. But it's important to see if you can commit and execute it before climbing, and whether climbing is a wise choice. And if you decide that it is a wise choice, I can manage it.

How to change a route

May 27, 2022

What is redpointing?

To complete a route that you have previously failed on without falling. Requires practice and "rehearsal". This is how top climbers improve their climbing and how others reach the next level.

How is redpointing different from onsighting and flashing?

Onsighting a Route is the first successful ascent of a route without seeing anyone else do it.

Flashing a Route is the first successful ascent of a route after seeing someone else do it.

Which is a higher grade climb: redpointing or flashing?

Redpointing. By practicing the moves, you gain deeper knowledge and discover the secrets of the route. This allows you to:

Learn the optimal sequence (to avoid costly mistakes and find the crux plan)

" Create muscle memory for the moves so that you are more relaxed and easier.

Find the optimal pace and rest positions

All of this brings us closer to our full potential and is what makes the difference between trying a route and conquering it.

How to Redpoint a Route 1. Pick a route. Pick a route that is two grades higher than your current onsight level (or three grades higher than you can currently complete without falling). Basically, if you've climbed a 5. 7 and know you can do it without falling, choose a 5. 9. If you can onsight a 5. 10a, choose a 5. 10c or 5. 10d.

This route is a pretty challenging route for you, maybe the most difficult, but not ridiculous. If possible, choose a route with a simple route on the same rope.

Which is a higher grade climb: redpointing or flashing?

Read the order of the move (advanced-not only for hands). Find a place that is likely to become a rest spot, stemming move, hold. The routes are divided into 3-4 sections based on these break spots.

3. Make the section a sample.

Climb the first section (if you are an advanced person, climb a simple route if possible and first climb the last section). Try the move in various ways and check which method is best for you. Observe how difficult the move feels, and the more difficult moves are evaluated over time. Try various techniques! Ask your partner or others for advice on what it looks like! Use the stall method to evaluate each move (hover your hands on the hold for 3 seconds and check if the body is balanced). Let's try to eliminate mistakes-each operation should be controlled ... otherwise, let's take a rest or choose a easier route.

  1. The best way to get the best sequence sensation is to do it while fresh ... don't worry about taking too much time. If you can pass the section without challenging at all, you may need to choose a more difficult route. If you could hardly pass that section, you might need a easier route.
  2. If you're not so tired, take a rest (a few minutes!) And go to the next section.
  3. Replace with a partner.

After that, the remaining one or two sections are performed.

  1. 3. Review.
  2. Look again, remember the sequence of your hands, turn your back and tell your partner the sequence! Use the terms that explain the hold and move, such as the blue sid e-pull with your right hand, the crossover and a small purple clip, the black underkle with the left hand, and the match with a huge green jag. Don't forget the end of the section, the start, and the name of the rest. Visualize the route.
  3. Please answer the following questions:

Where is the core? So what should I do?

  1. Where is the break spot?
    1. What is the best pace of each section?
    2. If you are leading, what is the clipping position?
    3. If you don't know, try again.
    1. 4. Link.
    2. Once you have memorized all the moves in detail, start stringing the sections together. If you have an easy route in a climb, climb from top to bottom, meaning string the last two sections together, then the last few sections together. This way you will best memorize the moves at the top.
    1. If you reach the top easily, try again on a more difficult route. Feel free to ask others for "betas" (hints or hints), but do not provide betas to others unless asked. Most climbers love the process of discovering routes on their own. This process may take days or weeks, but the reward when you redpoint a new grade is amazing!

      • To share the climbing time fairly.
      • To follow the instructions of public health.
      • How?
      • Up to 3 online reservations can be reserved at a time.

To make a reservation, click the RGP connect application or the button below.

      • When the right time comes, move from the reservation frame to the dro p-in model.
      • What we are trying to avoid and what we are planning for that.
      • Congestion when a block is over and another block begins.
      • I buy a punch here to enter with touchless. This gym conducts touchless admission.
      • Arrival in time lag. Depart your home according to the start time of the climbing session. By doing so, everyone will arrive at a different time little by little and avoid congestion every time. The climbing session is long enough, so you don't have to worry about arriving just to the start time to secure enough time for climbing. If not in time, please cancel! Someone can reserve that place even during sessions. Click here for the mechanism.
      • Shift the departure time. Don't remain until the end of the session block. Have a good session and leave the building. The closer you get to the natural flow, the faster you can get away from the back of the reservation system while respecting the capacity limit.
      • We are shifting the slot time, and this time it is open in the slot time six days ahead. You don't have to get up early to secure a place!
      • Let's share. Why don't you climb a short session and empty the slot for someone?

Billay tests strictly determine pass / fail. You cannot go near you for adjustment and adaptation. I'm really sorry. The bilay test is performed by muzzle.

The bilay test is performed by muzzle. Not everyone can participate from the gym anymore!

What you can do to prepare for climbing:

Get a hig h-quality face cover. Masks are needed every day.

Bring your COVID vaccination certificate and make sure your weber is the latest. I don't know? Please fill in here.

Do you think about climbing with your child? Please read the policy about your child before you arrive.

The app is faster, but you can always make a reservation from the website. If you want to make a reservation practice earlier, download the RGPRO CONNECT app (Apple or Google Play).

Before you break your body, don't come to the gym if you are under sel f-check:

      Those who have CV19 symptoms.

      Those who have received quarantine.

Those who fall under 1. or 2.
