Most of the monastery depends on the income of visitors. We are deeply grateful for the economic support of visitors.

Use the ticket again

If you purchase an online ticket from the Westminster Temple website, you can upgrade to an annual pass for free. This allows you to visit Abbey three times for one fee.

When visiting, please contact the Visitor Experience Team to upgrade to the annual path. You can use it up to three times a year. Please bring an annual path and check the opening time in advance.

Tickets purchased through promotion tickets (including highlights and lates) or third parties cannot be upgraded.

Other visit methods

2 for 1 National Rail offer

If you use the National Rail's "Days Out" guide, you can purchase tickets for two adults at a price (advance reserved tickets are not eligible).

Claim method

Bring a printed national rail voucher and a national rail ticket and purchase a direct ticket.

Tickets cannot be made in advance on the website. This offer will not be applied, so please refrain from coming by ticket reserved in advance.

Westminster temples are active churches and may be closed in a hurry.

Visit for personal prayers

You can visit for your personal prayer during the opening hours of Abbey. Please enter from the Great Western door. A tour for personal prayers is free.

Participate in daily worship

Be sure to check the worship time before visiting and use the monastery Great West Entrance. Participation in daily worship is free.

Passing church

We welcome church pass applications for clergy of British and Irish churches.

Pass pass can be entered free of charge, from adults, students, or 4 children from 6 to 16 years old. (Children up to the age of 5 can enter for free if they are accompanied by adults). Passes can be used up to 6 times in 12 months.

If you use the church, check the start time in advance and show your passage when you arrive. Admission is a capacity system and cannot be reserved in advance.

Please note: Pass pass can only be used in British small teaching wards and chapels. Admission is from the north door.

Westmin star resident

If you live in the Westminster City, you can use the City Save Card to discount the admission fee. See the Westminster City Save Card. Admission is capacity system.

Please check the admission time in advance. Card holders need to present a city save card when entering.

British military service service

Up to British military officials and their family of four, you can enter for free if you can present a valid ID card.

Admission of British military officials is possible according to the capacity of the monastery. You will need to present your ID when you enter.

Go City and London Pass

You can visit Abbey using Go City London Pass.

There is no need to make advance reservations. Admission is capacity system, and you may have to wait until the next free time when crowded. Before entering Abbey, you will receive a security check / bag check.

On a congestion date, it may be necessary to line up after the security check. Check the admission time before arrival. Admission is from North Green.

Entrance to the Queens Diamond Jubili Gallery is not included in the Go City London Pass, but you can buy a gallery ticket when you arrive at the monastery.

UK emergency service

UK emergency service

British rescue members (police, firefighting, ambulances) can see Abbey for free.

Claim method

Tickets will be issued if there is a vacant space at the time of entry (advance reservations cannot be made in advance).

Please present a statement with an emergency photo of the UK at the entrance. One ticket is issued for each ID card.

Universal Credit

From October 1, 2024, adults receiving universal credit will be a discounted fee:

• 1 pound of adults
• Family (1 adult and 1 child) -1 pound

Please present a universal credit when you enter.

Currently, adults receiving universal credit cannot book tickets online.

Those who have disabilities and their caregiver

Those who have a disability certificate and their caregivers can enter for free. Tickets can be purchased at the venue on the day.

If you travel with those who need an admission ticket, you can enter together by registering on this ticket sales site.

Admission is from the north door with a small step.
