How to help people affected by a hurricane "Milton

Many people died after more than a dozen tornado hit Florida as a result of the destructive consequences of the Milton hurricane.

The inhabitants of Florida, who are still recovering from the consequences of Hurricane "Helen", are now also fighting the destruction, which still continue due to the hurricane "Milton".

The hurricane fell to the area south of the Tampa, bringing down storm flows in the district, bringing up power lines and bridges and causing dangerous storms.

Wait or consider signing up for regular donations

Hurricanes are becoming more intense, especially as oceans warm due to climate change.

Communities face a long road to recovery. Signing up to give regularly to local organizations, even if it's just a small amount, can help nonprofits plan and be more efficient and effective.

Community foundations often have deep networks and excellent relationships with local nonprofits, and can help with fundraising to support long-term recovery needs.

For example, the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay has compiled a list of critical needs from local organizations and can make direct donations based on that list.

People on Long Island are collecting items to help victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Mutual aid is powerful.

Donating directly to crowdfunding sites or cash transfer apps can make a big difference in people's lives.

If you make direct donations to individuals, consider donating to organizations that meet needs in your local community.
