This diary is thin and small, so I won't overwhelm me. It's just like working on a small project. However, the texture and color of the handmade paper are beautiful enough, making you want to do something on this paper every night.
Love letters are simple, concise and short. Thanks for what I did that day, for example, for a simple thing to make a meal for myself or take a rest time. Praise the small achievements of the day (such as not getting angry even if things go well or being kind to someone). On a painful day, write a word that gives comfort and security in a letter. Write everything I want to hear. That letter tells myself, "I'm looking at you, I'm listening to your voice. I know how hard you are doing.

My steps to stop the social media app are gradually progressing.

I am producing 12 pages of ZINE using various founding poetry and collage techniques I learned in the workshop. This week we will announce Zine and share our challenge, creative processes, and what we have learned as a writer / poet in the process of summarizing this project.
I am excited about the fact that we will create a completed project together, impose restrictions and borders, and talk about creative decisions.
When I do this, I remember eating fried bananas and vegetables while drinking black coffee with my friends in some small Warun.
We are not in a hurry.
There is a lot of time to wait for the coffee to sink to the bottom of the glass.

- Writing a morning diary has been part of my morning daily routine for years. This habit is helpful to start the day calmly, before the busy day begins, by being more aware of and clarifying your condition (how you feel, what you are thinking, etc.). 。 In the morning, it is a way to find your "calm", keep your center and put your feet on the ground.

Congratulations on 2020! The first thing I do on January 1 is to set up this year's bullet journal (bujo)! If you don't know the bullet journal, I recommend watching this video or reading a book called Rider Carol, The Bullet Journal Method.
- Personally, I like books better than videos. This is because the book explains the outline of this method (as shown in the subtitle) to track the past, set the present, and design the future. I got a lot of hints and inspiration from this book to organize my life.
As usual, this year, I am mainly using a diary for work / project / sel f-improvement. I often write sentences and write diaries (maybe too much!), So I have a diary to tell my heart.
Until now, my bulletin diary was always minimal, but I decided to make it playful this year. I want to make a plan and enjoy a lot of pictures, so I set BUJO 2020 like this:
Barrett Journal Lap Book
In the 2020 bullet diary, the Royichtrum 1917 Hard Cover A5 Dot Navy Blue is used.
I really like the paper quality and the number of pages of this notebook (it can be used for one year). Furthermore, two bookmarks (blue and stripes) can be immediately referenced to the two sections in the bulleted diary.
In this article, I will introduce how I set up a bullet journal (and how I divided the page), but you have it to host your bullet journal. Feel free to use any notebook! If a suitable sky note is rolling, use it instead! You can also make cute bookmarks yourself.
I decorate the cover on the sticker of Flow Magazine's Book for Paper Lovers (most of the stickers and memo paper used in this bulletin diary), "BUJO 2020" in a white marker. I wrote it.
Contact page
Next, I drew myself (and home) and wrote the name and address on the contact page. In addition, it is used to put a Japanese paper tape (3 euros for 4 pieces!) Petting the Japanese paper tape (4 pieces!) And decorate this bullet journal, stand up a flag, and mark pages.

In the Goals & Bucket List, I write down my goals and experiences for 2020. To learn how I set annual goals, read this post and this post about why New Year’s Resolutions (usually) don’t work.
Page 8-11 Future Log
Here is a little calendar for each month of 2020. The bottom is left open for random thoughts, tentative plans, etc. What is written on this page may or may not happen. It's not set in stone. It's just my way of peering into the future and seeing what's in store. For example, I want to finish the first draft of my new book in May 2020, so I might write that in pencil under May.
Page 12-13 Yearly Statistics
There are a few things I want to record each month this year, so I'm creating this spread to record them and see them all at once. For now, there are two main areas I want to keep an eye on: finances and platform. I want to write down the latest statistics for these two by the end of each month so that I can see my month-to-month growth (or plummet!) as the year unfolds.
Page 14-15 Monthly Persona for January + Monthly Check-In & Intentions
On page 14, I drew myself as an "artist." I want to draw myself as a "fictional" version of myself, a different persona, living different lifelines or working different jobs throughout the year. "Artist" is my January persona.
I read this alter ego / persona exercise in Todd Herman's "The Alter ego Effect: How to Change Yourself in 10 Seconds or Less" and Julia Cameron's "Sound of Paper". This idea is to imagine yourself with your alter ego or another persona, lives a life you want to experience, and embodies a specific character, personality and qualities.
The goal is basically to "get out of your head" and imagine yourself with another possibility. If you're looking at Netflix's "Sense 8", think it's similar!
Many of us use our weakness to make an excuse to do / do something. But what if you abandon yourself now and instead, if you are your alter ego? In my case, this month, I think about my daily routine, advantages, habits, and qualities of the "artist" version, and live this month from that point of view.
On page 15, check in in January. How do you feel, what you are satisfied / not satisfied, what you are excited about / worried. And write the intention of January. What do you want to happen this month to feel a sense of fulfillment?
16-17 Page January monthly list + thanks
On the monthly list page, I wrote down the books I read this month, the podcast I heard, and the courses followed by SkillShare and DOMESTIKA. If you watch a really good movie or documentary, write it down that title.
On the thank you page, I write the date of each day in January and write what I am grateful every day. I keep my appreciation practice. It's very simple, but I'm humble and I can put my feet on the ground.
18-19 Page January month ideas & content ideas
I have a very busy spirit and get inspired and ideas that I would forget if I don't write it down. So, on the "Idea" page in January, I wrote the number of the day to write down the ideas I came up with that day (aside from whether to move that idea, look back on the random ideas. Is fun). Next to that is my content page, where I jot down content ideas and topics that come to mind. I color code them: pink for Instagram, blue for Blog, and green for YouTube, so I know where I'll publish/share certain content (if I decide to work on it).
Page 20-21: January Tracker & Planner + Income and Expenses
Page 20 has my January calendar and planner. Next to the day/date, there is a column for three habits I want to track this month: meditation, exercise, and art practice. I know it's tempting to start the year by recording a stack of good habits, but I always end up feeling overwhelmed. So I limit myself to three per month. The next two columns are my work planner and personal planner, where I keep track of work and project deadlines, work and personal events.
Page 21 has my income and expenses management sheet. A simple sheet that helps me be accountable for my finances! Page 22 January Weekly/Daily Planner
This is my Weekly/Daily Planner, where I record everything that happens as I go through each day: events, deadlines, appointments, to-do lists, weekly intentions, ongoing projects, notes.... I usually fill up 2 pages each week. If I don't have enough pages to write down, I can just stick scraps or note papers on this page with washi tape.
I also write out my "effective work hours" each day from 10am to 5pm, and record and evaluate what I do during what should be my productive hours.
Page 33 January Review
I left a full page for my January Weekly/Daily Planner, plus a blank page for notes and brain dumps. I write down my highlights and accomplishments from the month, and how I felt about the month in general. Was I happy? Am I proud of myself? What went well and what can I improve?
This template was repeated for each month throughout 2020 and I divided the notes into equal pages so I could use it until the end of the year (plus some extra pages for random notes): pages 34-February, pages 54-March, pages 72-April, pages 90-May, pages 108-June, pages 126-July, pages 144-August, pages 162-September, pages 180-October, pages 198-November, pages 216-December, pages 234-2020 Year in Review, pages 235-249-Random Notes.

Think of your writing practice as exercise.
- You don't exercise or train just because you're a professional athlete or want to compete in a competition. You don't have to be good at a sport to exercise. You don't have to break records or achieve something amazing when you exercise.
You exercise because you know it's good for your body, you build muscles, and even though you may not like the process, you'll feel refreshed and accomplished after you're done.
You can get benefits if you don't exercise every day, but if you don't exercise at all, it won't do you any good in the long run. Exercise once a week, twice a week, three times a week, for 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 It's best to make a schedule that suits you, including time. Don't overdo it or push yourself too hard. Or you might get tired of exercising.
If you skip exercise for a while, it's going to be a little difficult to start again. You might get tired and sore quickly. You might feel that you're not as strong, flexible, or fit as you used to be. But that's okay, that's what you started exercising for.
Similarly, it's the same with writing practice.
But what should you do in your writing practice? What should you write about?
Technically, you can practice writing by focusing on the areas that you think you're weak in. Going back to the exercise and training analogy, if you know or feel that your legs are weak, you might want to do some exercises to strengthen them.
That said, here are three things I usually focus on in my writing practice:
1. Characters
I love watching people, I can watch them for hours.
In a shopping mall, cafe, waiting room, coffee shop, select some people as "characters" and describe the person in detail. What kind of clothes you are wearing, what they are, have obvious physical characteristics, how to speak, how to speak, how to call the waiter, or hesitate before paying at the counter.
Also pay attention to the trivial points of those people. Without judging, write down what you observed.
After writing, next is the time of imagination. If you imagine, what do you think is their back story? What are their bad habits and virtues? What are their professions? Are you married or single? What are they aiming for? What are the biggest issues in their lives? If they have a dark secret, what is it?
After writing, verify your guess and compare these ridiculous guesses with the detailed description of the "characters" you wrote. Do you know why some characters came to such conclusions and guesses?

No matter where you are, let's describe the place. Write only the facts you observed. Pay attention to everything, such as shape, color, smell, shadow, sound.
After that, let's write about this place from the perspective of those who have just fallen in love, those who have just got fired, those who have just hit the lottery, those who are in love, and those who are dying. 。 Or how do you express this place if you are a chef, lawyer or celebrity?

Intuitive journaling: how do you do it?
- It’s sometimes called freewriting or automatic writing. Set a timer and time it all: 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes... (for this challenge, you'll do 3-minute sessions per day).
When the timer starts, don't stop thinking, and start writing a diary (using a pen and paper). Write anything that came to your heart. It may seem strange, funny, or meaningless. The idea is to convert your busy heart into paper.

I have been reading a sel f-development book for can field and carnegie since I was in high school. And from those books, I absorbed the ideas of the vision board and the power of thinking.
I first made a vision board when I was a freshman in college. I wrote it on the A4 page in a transparent envelope in the ring binder.
Basically, you just cut out a picture of what you want in your life from an old magazine. At that time, there were photos of handsome men, lovely romantic scenes, branded products (a lot of magazine ads!). I wrote some affirmations on the gelpen. You're Beautiful "or" GUYS LIKE YOU! ].
I think you know where my priority was.
What is a vision board?
According to Wikipedia, the vision board is explained:
- "Dreams, goals, images, photos, and affirmations of things that make you happy. Dreamboards, treasure maps, and vision maps. Creating a vision board is useful for conceptualization of goals. It is a tool and a source of motivation when trying to realize a dream. "
- Since college, he has been making vision boards at least once or two years. I don't put it in the ring binder anymore. Occasionally, I made a vision board in my diary. In addition, the vision board has been used as a desktop wallpaper so that it can be seen every time a laptop computer is opened. About 10 years ago, I bought a writing board with half a cork board at a bookstore and half a whiteboard. Since then, I've been using it to make a vision board.
- For me, creating a vision board is simply a fun activity, apart from thinking about what kind of life you want to live. It's like a daytime dream (or a hallucinations), but this time you can actually see what you had had a daytime on a board (or any media you chose).
- Collect words, images, and photos for the vision board.
- I've stopped buying magazines, so I'm looking for photos and images for vision boards on the Internet recently. My favorite places are UNSPLASH, StoryBlocks, and Pinterest. However, when choosing words, photos, and images, I learned from the failure when I made a vision board before.
- Previously, my vision board was very literal. If you want to lose weight, look for a picture of a healthy and tight girl. If you want to have a love, look for a happy couple. If I wanted a house, I tried to find a picture of a beautiful house. What if I want more money? that's right. That's right, I looked for a picture of a large gold mountain.
- I did this for a while, but after a few weeks I noticed that my interest in the vision board would be lost (that is, I drop the vision board from the wall and hide it behind the cupboard). 。 For some reason, when I saw what was drawn on the vision board, I realized that I didn't have it, and I was so nervous. Every time I saw the vision board, I felt a little stressed, which had to work hard to achieve it, if it would be a failure.
So today, how I made a vision board was not to focus on finding the image of what I wanted, but to find photos, quotes, and images that make me happy and comfortable in myself. Focus on. That's right. I don't need a bundle of branded products, mountai n-like money, or firs t-class cabins.
Finding a quote is the same. If you read the quote and your heart is about to melt, write the quote on your vision board.
I realized that this was the most effective approach to me, not to be things but to focus on emotions.
I want to be able to feel happy instead of thinking about how to get what I don't have while watching my vision board. Looking at the vision board, I want to remember the feeling that I always wanted to feel in my life: happiness, satisfaction, peace, creation, freedom, affection, safety.
For me, the most effective vision board is to focus on feelings, not things.

How to use a vision board
