Bron explains his position to Ser Meryn.
Once Tyrion has completed the rescue, he fears that whoever ordered Ser Mandon Moore to kill him in the middle of the battle will try to finish the job, and so he summons Podrick Payne to continue providing protection to Bronn. Podrick interrupts Bronn as he celebrates his knighthood and enjoys the services of the prostitute Mirell. Just before Bronn arrives, Queen Cersei visits Tyrion, bringing with her two Royal Guards. Bronn finds them guarding Tyrion's bedchamber door and mocks them, calling them by the wrong name. When Ser Meryn Trant corrects him, Bronn reveals that he has been knighted as well. Trant is incredulous, so Bronn assures Podrick that "Ser Bronn of the Blackwater" was knighted by the King himself. Trant dismisses Bronn, saying that he has only become the Ripper and nothing more. Bronn agrees, but responds by insulting Meryn, calling him a "fool in fancy armor" who's better at punching girls than fighting men. Bronn insists on letting him in, but Meryn warns him that if he puts his hand on the door, he'll lose an arm. Bronn tells Port After Tyrion is promoted to "Master of Coin", Bronn accompanies Tyrion and Podrick to a brothel owned by Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish. Bron asks if Little Finger thinks he is embezzling money, but Tillion says the problem is that he's borrowing money from anywhere. Little Finger always behaves as if it was a financial genius who could raise funds from nothing, but in fact the iron throne has a large amount of debt, and Little Finger is from Taiwin. Bronn responds to Tyrion's summons a few days later, but the summons now evolves into a formality of appearance, revealing that Cersei has arranged for him to marry Lord Stokeworth's second daughter, Rorys Stokeworth. This marriage will once again raise Bronn's social status, making him a minor nobleman. Bronn is happy with this arrangement because it ensures that Rorys will eventually inherit Stokeworth Castle, as Lord Stokeworth's successor, Farys, is infertile. When Tyrion asks why he has come all the way, Bronn reminds him of his promise that he would offer Tyrion twice as much as anyone willing to sell him. Bronn points out that despite Tyrion offering wealth and possibly a share of the North, it is unlikely that Bronn will rule the North through Sansa. Bronn also openly questions Cersei's ability to defeat the monstrous and fearsome Lord Gregor Clegane, Cersei's champion. He points out that, despite their friendship, Tyrion has never risked his life for him. Bronn explains: "I like him. I like myself better." Given the extreme risk and the precious possibility of marriage offered by Cersei, it was the obvious choice to buy her off. Bronn's visit to Tyrion was ultimately motivated by guilt.

He also reveals that Cersei has arranged for Willis Bracken to marry Rory in his place, which angers Bronn, who had a deal with Cersei. [28] Bronn and Jaime travel to Dorne on a merchant ship bound for Oldtown. Having visited Dorne before, he warns Jaime of how dangerous the Dorne people are, and of their disdain for the Lannisters in particular. When Bronn asks Jaime why he did not send others to bring Myrcella back to King's Landing, Jaime insists that he should carry out the mission himself. Bronn correctly surmises that Jaime must have freed Tyrion from imprisonment and led him to his father's death. Remembering his former employer, Bronn asks Jaime to greet Tyrion if the brothers are reunited, but Jaime replies that he will kill Tyrion if he ever sees him again. At night, Bronn and Jaime land on the shores of Dorne and make camp. In the morning, Bronn saves Jaime from a snake that would bite him, and cooks it for breakfast. During the meal, Bronn remarks that being bitten by a snake is a "worthless way to die", but Jaime thinks that any death is a "worthless way to die". While Bronn wants to die in a comfortable home while his sons beg him for money, Jaime wants to die in the arms of the woman he loves. It's like Bronn and Jaime fight the guards of Dorne. Bronn takes a walk with Rory and his wife outside Stokeworth Castle. Rorys talks at length about her upcoming wedding, but Bronn doesn't seem interested in the story. While Bronn says he wants to die in a comfortable home with his sons pestering him for money, Jaime wants to die in the arms of the woman he loves. Bronn and Jaime fight the Dorne guards.
Soon after, they are found by the guards of Dorne from the past. Bronn tries to convince them that they are just lost travelers, but their leader orders them to throw their swords in the sand. They comply, but Bronn quickly kills two of the guards and kills the other's horse, giving it to Jaime. Jaime blocks a blow with his golden hand and kills the fourth guard while Bronn kills the fourth. Bronn is happy that he has finally got the Dorne stallion, but an annoyed Jaime orders Bronn to dig graves for the four guards. [6]
Jamie and Bronn arrive at the Water Gardens.
Disguised as Dorne soldiers, Bronn and Jaime finally arrive at the Water Gardens and search for Myrcella. They find her with Trystane Martell and are visibly surprised to see Jaime there. When Trystane tries to intervene, Bronn stands aside and advises Jaime to let Jaime and Myrcella talk. Trysten notices blood on Jaime and Bronn's uniforms and tries to grab his sword, but Bronn knocks him down and he falls to the ground. They are attacked by the Sand Snakes, daughters of Oberyn Martell, who are trying to kidnap Myrcella. Bronn fights Tyne Sand and a Sand Nymph, easily defeating them both despite minor injuries, but Areo Hota and the guards appear and order everyone to stop. After a tense moment, Bronn puts down his sword and is arrested along with the others. She points out Tyne's age but refrains from attacking him. [29]
Bron is poisoned by Tyne Sand.
Trapped in a dungeon with the Sand Snakes, Bronn attracts Tyne's interest by singing "The Dornish Wife" over and over. Bronn compliments Tyne on her beauty, but she cannot compare to the other women of Westeros. Tyne begins to remove his clothes to raise Bronn's blood pressure, causing him to have a nosebleed, his head to spin and he collapses. Tyne reveals that she has poisoned his knife, slowly killing him, but that she has an antidote and will only give it to him if he tells her that she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. When Bronn manages to say so, she shoots him with the antidote, which he drinks and seems to make him feel better. [30]
Bronn is then released and brought before Doran Martell at Jaime's request. Doran wants to punish Bronn, but Jaime insists that Bronn was only following his orders. Bronn's fate is left to Trysten, who takes pity on Bronn and agrees to release him, but on the condition that Hota punch Trysten in the face in retaliation for Bronn's punch to Trysten. Hota does so. [31]
Bronn, released, boards a ship at the docks to return to King's Wharf with Jaime, Mysella, and Trysten. While Doran prays for the safety of the group, Tyne calls out to Bronn, "Come and play with me." Tyne tells Bronn that he wants good women, but he also needs bad ones, and playfully bites his ear. Jaime summons Bronn to board the ship and leaves Dorne behind. However, after the ship passes, Myrcella collapses from a poison secretly given to her by Ellaria Sand before they depart. [32]
Game of Thrones: Season 6 [] (Game of Thrones: season 6)
Season 6, Episode 6: Bronn arrives at Riverrun with Jaime.
Bronn is carried by Jaime as he leads the Lannister forces to Riverrun to help the Freys besiege the castle. Riverrun was the seat of House Tully, and Lord Edmure Tully's uncle Brynden Tully had recaptured it from the Freys. Bronn assisted Jaime when the latter received orders from Lothar Frey and Black Walder to besiege the castle. Both are frustrated by the incompetence of their Frey allies, but when Jaime suggests that he be the one to teach the Freys how to properly besiege the castle, Bronn becomes annoyed, arguing that he is needed because he is a better soldier than any of the Lannister militia. Jaime, who was promised a castle, land, and a wife to go to Dorne, remembers that he has nothing yet and tries to claim that he can have all three if he helps lead the siege, but is cut off by the Knight of the Foul. [33]
Jaime and Bronn witness Frey's shoddy siege.Bronn and Jaime are visibly disgusted when Blackwalder fails to follow through on his threat to kill the captive Edmure, and attempts to use him as a bargaining chip to get the Freys to surrender the Blackfish. Bronn is present when Jaime punches Blackwalder and defies his orders to ensure Edmure is well-treated and fed. Acting under Jaime's authority, Bronn orders the Freys to dig around the castle and set up detonators. Although Bronn expresses skepticism that Jaime's push for the Blackfish will be successful, Jaime goes ahead with it. As Bronn predicted, Brynden refuses to surrender the castle to the Iron Throne and vows to continue the siege. [33]
When Tyrion's former squire Podrick Payne arrives with Brienne of Tarth, Bronn rubs up against Podrick and greets him playfully, laughing. The sellsword is happy to see his old friend again, and the two exchange jokes about sex and swordsmanship. Bronn offers to teach Podrick the art of "dirty fighting", and Podrick accepts. The siege of Riverrun ends when Jaime convinces Edmure to order a surrender in exchange for preventing the deaths of his guards and his son. As the Lannister and Frey armies move to seize Riverrun, Podrick and Brienne escape with the help of the Blackfish. [34]
Jaime and Bronn celebrate their victory at the Twin Towers.
After a Frey replay of Riverrun, Bronn appears to celebrate the twins' victory with Lord Walder. He stands next to Jaime and expresses how jealous he is of the girls' erotic gazes. Jaime modestly asserts that she is not his type. Jaime then loudly calls them both over and introduces Bronn as the hero of the Battle of Blackwater Bay. At first, Bronn protests, saying he "isn't in the mood", but soon backs down and leaves the celebration with the two young women. [35]Bron and Jaime return to the capital. Bron fires a lightning for the drogons and Deneris.
Bronn arrives with the ballista on a stretcher, kills the bloodrider with a shot to the heart, and reloads his weapon. He shoots at Drogon and misses, but catches Daenerys' attention, and she climbs up to him to destroy the ballista. As Drogon is in range, Bronn aims and fires again, hitting Drogon in the shoulder. At first, the damage is enough that Drogon (led by Daenerys) begins to fall, but eventually it is not enough, and Drogon avoids hitting the ground and destroys the ballista with dragon fire. Bronn leaps to safety in the nick of time, and when Jaime foolishly tries to kill Daenerys from behind and meets him with dragon fire, Bronn tackles him to safety and the two fall into the river. [9]
Bron pulls Jaime out of the water.
After the battle, Bronn pulls Jaime out of the water and onto shore after Jaime's failed attempt to kill Daenerys and end the final war. Bronn says he spared Jaime because he might finish him off until he gets what Jaime wants. Jaime observes the power of the dragons and realizes that they will be in great danger if Daenerys chooses to use all three in the upcoming battle. When Bronn laments that he has a duty to tell Cersei what has happened, Jaime assures him that he will not be present for such an attack. Bronn thinks it would be safer to jump into the river than to face Cersei's wrath.[37]
Tyrion is successful in contacting Bronn, and Jaime and Tyrion have a meeting in the crypt of the Red Keep.[37]
Bron and Jaime watch as Daenerys' forces besiege King's Wharf. Returning from the wight hunt, Jon Snow, the hunters, Tyrion, and the rest of the Targaryen allies and captives arrive by ship at King's Wharf, while a large group of Unsullied and screaming Dothraki are in the fields outside the city. On their way to the Dragonpit, the group encounters Brienne of Tarth, Podrick Payne, and a Lannister force led by Bronn. Tyrion accompanies the group, addressing Bronn as "Ser Bronn of the Blackwater". Bronn responds by indicating that he has been thinking of Daenerys since the Battle of the Goldroad. Tyrion offers to double what the others have offered if Bronn reconsiders his allegiance.[38]
Bronn accompanies the Stark-Targaryen party to the Dragonpit.
Bronn assures Podrick, Tyrion, and Varys that no one has to worry, that he will look after himself. Tyrion disagrees, citing the danger he could be putting himself in by arranging a meeting between Jaime and his brother. Bronn says that Cersei is not offering him the bag of gold, but that a meeting between Varys and Tyrion could greatly increase his fortune. After a brief smile, Tyrion says he is glad to meet Bronn, to which the mercenary replies with a smile, "Yeah, you too." Upon arriving at the Dragonpit, the summit begins, and Bronn takes Podrick away, claiming that they have no place in the upcoming talks. [38]
