A new report has been released that scraped TripAdvisor reviews to determine the "luckiest" casinos in Las Vegas.

There's always something going on in Las Vegas, but especially now. The architectural marvel, the Sphere, is opening for concerts. Later this month, the 67-story luxury mega-resort, the Fontainebleau, will debut. And in February 2024, Allegiant Stadium will host Super Bowl LVIII. But, of course, one of the most popular things to do in Sin City is gambling. And now, a new report from Casino. org suggests the luckiest casinos in Las Vegas.

With dozens of casinos on the Las Vegas Strip and countless machines, choosing which one is partly down to luck. Here's what you need to know to find the best hotel casinos in Las Vegas, if you're curious about 777.

What are the "luckiest" casinos in Las Vegas?

To identify casinos with the most frequent payouts, Casino. org looked at reviews of 15 popular casinos, relying on reviewers who brag about their winnings: "lucky", "luck", "won", "win", "success", "jackpot", "hand pay".

Analysts determined that The Mirage was the most "lucky" casino, with 6. 03% of TripAdvisor reviews relating to lucky experiences.

A tropical oasis in the desert, The Mirage is owned and operated by Hard Rock International and is known for its mock volcano that erupts nightly at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm and 11pm.

"Mirage, mirage, on the wall, who's the luckiest?" says the Casino. org report. "Our data revealed that Mirage casinos hold the highest win rates, and that's because luck seems to be showered not only on their man-made volcano that erupts every night, but also on people's Tripadvisor reviews."

How are the "Luckiest" Casinos Determined?

When validating the data, the Casino. org team calculated luck-related mentions from the casinos' review pages, rather than considering the resorts' Tripadvisor pages. When aggregating reviews, they made sure there was no overlap of keywords in reviews from the same person and they would be counted twice.

The data was collected in November 2023.

While the Mirage boasted the highest luck-related reviews on TripAdvisor reviews, several other hotels were not far behind.

The Venetian, known for its canals and gondoliers inspired by Venice, Italy, ranked as the second luckiest casino on the Strip. According to Casino. org, out of 2, 867 reviews, 5. 92% had positive luck sentiments. It also had the most mentions of "jackpot" and "winning."

To determine the luckiest casinos in Las Vegas, Casino. org analysts looked at TripAdvisor reviews with mentions of "jackpot" and "won".

ARIA Resort & Casino came in third with 5. 55% of reviews mentioning luck-related keywords. The analysts noted that ARIA's casino had the most mentions of hand pays. (Usually, if you hit a jackpot of $1, 200 or more, you're paid out in hand, called a hand pay or hand pay).

The top five luckiest casinos in Las Vegas, according to this analysis, are The Cosmopolitan (#4) and Treasure Island (#5).
